Complex Feeding and Nutrition
Provides medical management, nutrition counselling and feeding therapy to children and youth with complex feeding and nutritional issues that are difficult to manage. The service includes six clinics addressing complex feeding, tube transition, swallowing disorders, malnutrition, outpatient nutrition, and intestinal rehabilitation.
Teaching and counselling are provided according to the needs of a child and family. Children and youth are seen by an interdisciplinary team of a nurse, nurse practitioner, gastroenterologist, dietitian and, if required, an occupational therapist or social worker.
