www.HealthLinkBC.ca

This website provides medically-approved information on more than 5,000 health topics, symptoms, and interactive health tools and tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It also offers an integrated search and mapping function to more than 6,100 health services to help British Columbians find health services close to their home communities.

BC HealthGuide Handbook

We have written the book on how to recognize and manage common health concerns. The BC HealthGuide Handbook, our 400+ page self-care manual, provides information about preventing illness, home treatment, emergencies and when to see a health care provider. The BC HealthGuide Handbook is available at no charge to B.C. residents in French and Punjabi.

At this time, the English and Chinese versions of the BC HealthGuide Handbook are no longer available by direct order from our website or by calling HealthLink BC at 8-1-1. We are currently exploring opportunities to provide new and updated self-care and general health information resources in print. If you would like to order the BC HealthGuide Handbook in other available languages including French and Punjabi, please complete our order form.
