PharmaCare - Permanent Residents of Licensed Residential Care Facilities (Plan B)
Provides coverage of the full cost of eligible prescription drugs and designated medical supplies for permanent residents of licensed residential care facilities in BC. Each residential facility is served by a contracted pharmacy. PharmaCare pays each pharmacy a per diem rate to provide pharmacy services to the facility.

Eligibility
Must be a permanent resident of a licensed residential care facility in BC that has requested to be listed with BC PharmaCare. Plan B does not cover people who are in extended-care, acute-care, multi-level and assisted-living facilities and short-term patients in a licensed residential care facility.
Application process
Registration not required; coverage is automatic when a person becomes a permanent resident of a licensed residential care facility listed with the BC PharmaCare program.
