Fair PharmaCare Plan

Provides BC residents with coverage of eligible prescription drugs and designated medical supplies. This includes prescription drugs, and insulin, needles, blood glucose test strips, and insulin pump supplies for people with diabetes.

Certain ostomy supplies, prosthetic appliances, nicotine replacement products, and designated children's orthotic devices such as braces may be covered. The program also covers specific pharmacy fees for prescription renewals and adaptations.

Eligibility
Residents of BC with valid, active BC Medical Services Plan (MSP) coverage, and who have filed an income tax return for the taxation year two years prior to year of registration. Registrant's family may include their spouse (if applicable) and any dependent children on the same MSP contract as the registrant or their spouse. New residents of Canada may provide information on their net income for the relevant year and may register as soon as they receive their BC Services Card.
