Primary Care Networks are community-based networks of health care professionals and clinics who plan and deliver the health care needs of a community. They are set up throughout B.C. to help improve people's access to health care services. Primary Care Networks link family practices and other clinics together with health authorities and other health organizations in a geographic area. Within these networks, doctors work collaboratively with teams of health professionals like nurse practitioners, psychologists, pharmacists and other practitioners to support the health care needs of the local community.
