Provincial Health Services Authority

The provincial health authority that works with the BC Ministry of Health and the five regional health authorities to bring health care closer to where BC residents live, to promote health, manage chronic conditions and reduce the burden of illness.

PHSA operates provincial agencies that provide care and services through specialized hospitals and centres, and as well are responsible for specialized provincial health services, which are delivered across the province in collaboration with regional health authorities.
