Island Health

A regional health authority of the Province of BC providing health care and support services to residents of Vancouver Island, the islands in the Salish Sea and Johnstone Strait, and the mainland communities of Powel River.

Services are provided through a network of hospitals, clinics, health units, and residential facilities. Key service areas include hospital care, public health, home and community care, mental health and substance use, primary care, and environmental health.
