Victoria Primary Care Network

Last updated

Victoria Primary Care Network connects communities with family doctors, nurse practitioners and health services for accessible, community-based healthcare.

We acknowledge the land that the work we do together occurs on and spans across the traditional and unceded territories of the Lkwungen (Lekwungen) Xwsepsum (Esquimalt), Songhees, WSÁNEĆ, BOḰEĆEN (Pauquachin), SȾÁ,UTW̱ (Tsawout), W̱JOȽEȽP (Tsartlip), W̱SÍḴEM (Tseycum) and Coast Salish peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day. We would like to express our gratitude to the Nations in the region we serve, inclusive of Scia’new (Beecher Bay), T’Sou-ke (Sooke), Pacheedaht (Port Renfrew), and MÁLEXEŁ (Malahat) people.

Overview

Family Practice Clinic

Find a family doctor or nurse practitioner

If you need a primary care provider, register on the Health Connect Registry to get matched with a family doctor or nurse practitioner in your community. At this time, we cannot offer a specific timeframe for attachment. Access to a family doctor or nurse practitioner in Victoria is limited by the number of providers with capacity to accept new patients.

We are actively recruiting family doctors and nurse practitioners to the region. While we work on solutions to ensure everyone has access to a family doctor or nurse practitioner, we appreciate your patience.

Registering with the Health Connect Registry helps highlight the number of people currently without a provider which informs current primary care planning.
