British Columbia Specific Information
Mosquitoes can spread many diseases, including West Nile virus. West Nile virus can be found in many regions of the world, including many parts of Africa, Western Asia, and the northern Mediterranean area. The virus has also been detected in B.C. and other parts of Canada. Wearing insect repellant can help protect against mosquitoes bites.
