Whether you are planning meals for home or work or trying to make lifestyle choices to reduce the risk of chronic disease, these healthy eating resources can help you feel your best.

Canada’s New Food Guide

Health Canada has released Canada’s new Food Guide with updated recommendations.

Canada’s Food Guide uses the science of nutrition and health to help you make healthy food choices. It helps you choose foods that improve your health and meet your nutrient needs. These choices can help reduce your risk of nutrition-related chronic diseases and conditions.

Later in 2019, Health Canada will also be releasing Canada’s Healthy Eating Pattern for health professionals and policy makers. Canada’s Healthy Eating Pattern will provide more specific guidance on amounts and types of foods, as well as life stage guidance.

Our resources will be reviewed and revised to reflect the new guidance in the coming months. In the meantime, our resources remain safe, trusted sources of information.
