Being physically active and eating well on a regular basis doesn’t need to be difficult. There are numerous forms and tools available to help you set goals, overcome barriers, and track your progress. Learn what you can do to get started.

Activity Log

Using activity logs is an easy way to keep track of your activities, see your progress, and set future goals. Activity logs can be specific to an activity, such as walking, or can include all the activities you do.

Before You Start

Participating in physical activity is safe for most people, however some people should check with their health care provider or a qualified exercise professional before becoming more active. These forms will provide guidance on whether you should seek further advice becoming more physically active.

Measure Your Heart Rate

To help create a strong, healthy heart and lungs, it’s necessary to do physical activity at the right level of effort. Learn how to calculate your target heart rate.

Track Your Progress

Tracking your progress is a great way to see if you are reaching your physical activity goals. This tool can help you estimate how hard you are working in your physical activity and if the effort decreases over time.
