Health Connect Registry, qathet

Last updated: March 14, 2024

The Health Connect Registry is a province-wide patient registry available in the qathet region for people who are looking for a primary care provider. You can register with the Health Connect Registry in qathet if you, your family, or a person in your care live in Powell River, the qathet Regional District (including Texada and Savary Islands), or Tla’amin Nation.

The qathet Primary Care Network (PCN) team is working with clinics in your community to help you find a family doctor or nurse practitioner.

Register Now

The Health Connect Registry is the most efficient way to find a family doctor or nurse practitioner in the region. Once registered, you will be added to the list and contacted directly when a primary care provider is available. We ask you to please be patient, as it may take some time to be connected with a doctor or nurse practitioner.

About Primary Care Networks and the Health Connect Registry

Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are community-based networks of health care professionals and clinics who plan and deliver all day-to-day health care needs of a community. Within these networks, teams of providers work together. This way, patients will receive better care, by the right person, at the right time, closer to home.

PCNs are part of the Province's Primary and Community Care Strategy to make sure you have faster and better access to the everyday health care services. The Health Connect Registry is part of this strategy. The registry works with communities to help match patients with a regular family doctor or nurse practitioner. We know that having a regular provider leads to better health for you and your family.
