Youth Home Stabilization Program
Provides support to youth and their caregivers with managed substance use withdrawal and follow-up in a home environment. The program works with young people who are using substances and want to stop or significantly reduce the use of at least one substance.
Services include support through withdrawal, short-term family counselling and or mediation, home visits, cultural and spiritual supports, long-term treatment referrals, and harm reduction supplies. Access to opiate agonist therapy and primary care services are also available.

Eligibility
Youth aged 13 - 24, living in Vancouver, who are using substances and want to stop or significantly reduce their use of at least one substance. Youth must have housing or a temporary place to stay until their withdrawal process is complete.
Application process
Call the Central Addictions Intake Team (CAIT) if you have questions about the program, would like to refer yourself, or would like to make a referral.
