TIDES Rural/Remote Rehab Team

Provides short-term rehabilitation and consultation services for clients living with stroke, TIA, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, non-sports related concussion, or progressive neurological disorders. The program uses virtual services with in-person care to meet the needs of clients across all communities.

The program is based out of Sechelt Hospital, but provides services to residents across Vancouver Coastal Health's rural and remote communities including Powell River, Sea-to-Sky Corridor and the Sunshine Coast.

Eligibility
Adults aged 19 and over who are medically stable and who have specific rehabilitation goals to work towards with the support of the TIDES Team.
Application process
Referrals from any hospital or healthcare professional accepted. Appointments may be virtual or in person, either at the local hospital or in the home. Referrals related to WCB or ICBC claims are not accepted.
