Provides specialized services and programs to help newly arrived immigrants, government-assisted refugees, refugee claimants, and permanent residents meet their initial adaptation and settlement needs in Canada.

Services include orientation, settlement education information, multilingual counselling, referral services and links to community resources such as housing, schools, parks and recreation.

Eligibility
Permanent resident, refugee, temporary foreign worker, immigrant who is naturalized citizen, or provincial nominee waiting for letter of approval for permanent residency from the federal government.
Application process
Call for an appointment. Date of birth, legal name, and proof of permanent residence such as photocopy of a PR card or immigration document, is required.
