Settlement and Integration Services
Provides specialized services and programs to help newly arrived immigrants, government-assisted refugees, refugee claimants, and permanent residents meet their initial adaptation and settlement needs in Canada.
Services include orientation, settlement education information and referral to other services such as legal support, housing, childcare, and employment. A health care navigator is also available to help access low-cost health services, short-term counselling, or find a family doctor.
