Provides diabetes education and support for children, youth and their families on an outpatient basis. The clinic team provides either a pediatrician or endocrinologist, a diabetes nurse educator, a social worker and dietitian to educate patients on all aspects of diabetes including but not limited to blood glucose readings, monitor patient nutrition, healthy growth and development and medication management.
