Provides surgical treatment, education and long-term follow-up care to help a person with severe obesity lose weight. The program is supported by a multi-disciplinary team including bariatric surgeons, respirology and endocrinology specialists, dietitians, nurses, and mental health team. Clinic located in Richmond but available to all residents of BC.

Eligibility
Adults aged 19 - 65 with a BMI greater than 40, or BMI greater than 35 with heart disease, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, diabetes or degenerative joints. A full medical assessment will be needed to determine eligibility.

Physician or nurse practitioner referral required.
