Home IV Program

Provides training and education for adults who need intravenous antibiotics, with the goal of enabling self-treatment at home. The Community Outpatient Intravenous Nurse (COIN) will also provide ongoing support to ensure that patients are not having negative reactions to the antibiotics, or the devices.

Application process
Referrals from an infectious disease physician required, or from the Rapid Access Clinic or another hospital.
