Healthy Start

Provides public health services to pregnant women, new mothers, babies, children, and families. Public health nurses work closely with Primary Care and Community interprofessional teams including doctors and midwives to ensure you have the healthiest pregnancy and baby possible.

Services include connecting you with a maternity care provider, prenatal and postpartum information and resources, health assessments, referrals to community services, and early supports such as breastfeeding and infant feeding assistance, parenting information, and emotional support.
