BC Women's Milk Bank

BC Women's Milk Bank

BC Women's Milk Bank

Provides pasteurized donor human milk to premature and sick babies whose own mothers can't provide any or enough breast milk. The Milk Bank screens milk donors, collects and heat-treats (pasteurizes) donated milk and distributes it to hospitals. Donor milk is available by doctor's prescription and is prioritized for children with the greatest need.
