HealthLink BC Physical Activity Services (formerly known as the Physical Activity Line) provides general physical activity information and professional guidance to residents of British Columbia to help them be more physically active and lead a healthier lifestyle.

Our qualified exercise professionals are trained to prescribe exercise to people of all ages and abilities, including individuals with chronic medical conditions. The team works in a dynamic work environment where technology and innovation are used to provide readily accessible quality physical activity information to the public throughout British Columbia by phone, online and by email. Exercise professionals who are interested in a career with HealthLink BC Physical Activity Services are required to have an undergraduate and/or graduate degree in exercise science, advanced training in clinical exercise prescription, and a current membership as a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the Health and Fitness Federation of Canada and the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology or American College for Sports Medicine.
