Step 2: Ingredients

List all ingredients, in the order you use them in the recipe. Include detailed information, like:

  • Name of the ingredient, including brand name
  • Freshness: Is it fresh, frozen, canned, dried, etc.?
  • Preparation: Is it whole, sliced, diced, crushed, etc.?
  • Any flavourings
  • Any seasonings, including salt

Provide enough detail for every ingredient so that assumptions are not made. Enter the information into your recipe template.
