Chronic Pain

Pain is called chronic if it lasts for 3 months or longer. It's normal to have pain when you are injured or ill. But pain that lasts for weeks, months, or years isn't normal.

There are many treatment options for chronic pain. They include exercise, behavioural therapy, physiotherapy, medicines, and complementary therapies such as acupuncture and massage.
