Ovarian Endometrioma

An ovarian endometrioma is a cyst that is attached to the ovaries and that contains tissue similar to the uterine lining (endometrial tissue). Endometriomas (also called endometrial or "chocolate" cysts) can be as small as 1 mm or more than 8 cm across.
