What’s Happening? is becoming the Ministry of Health’s one-stop shop for health information in B.C.  At the end of November 2021, content from HealthyFamilies BC will move to join the over 5,000 medically approved health and nutrition topics that exist on our site.

We work with experts in healthcare to create health information that you can trust. Our content is reviewed by our internal clinical team, our team of registered dietitians and qualified exercise professionals and expert partners from the B.C. Ministry of Health and health organizations in British Columbia. We also work with our knowledgebase supplier Healthwise® to provide information on thousands of illnesses and conditions and other health topics.

Whether it’s finding important information about what to do when your child has the flu, or simply learning about healthy food choices for your family, you’ll find the information you need in this new, single online source.

Our digital team continues to test and make improvements to the site.  We are working with our partners to make sure that every detail is accounted for. The new version of the site will “go live” at the end of  November 2021. We will provide any further updates on this page as we get closer to the launch date.
